OEM packaging development
Custom Packaging Development
Move from a drawing, sample or 3D file to an engineered packaging system and controlled production plan.

Development sequence
From design evaluation to mass production
Custom development is used when the existing mould library cannot meet the confirmed technical or commercial requirement.
- 01
Design evaluation
Review drawings, samples, 3D files, filling product and project volumes.
- 02
Engineering
Define material, structure, neck, closure, label panel and manufacturing route.
- 03
Mould development
Confirm tooling scope, investment, timing and sample plan.
- 04
Sample approval
Evaluate dimensions, filling, compatibility and pack performance.
- 05
Mass production
Release the approved pack to controlled production and export preparation.
Accepted starting points
Bring the information you already have
- Dimensioned drawings
- Physical packaging samples
- 3D CAD files
- Filling and closure requirements
- Target order and annual demand
Technical answers
Custom packaging development questions
What can be used to start a custom packaging project?
EIPS can evaluate dimensioned drawings, physical samples, 3D files or a functional packaging brief together with the filled product and expected demand.
Who pays for a new mould?
Custom mould investment normally requires prepaid tooling fees. Qualified projects may discuss a return arrangement through first-order cooperation, subject to commercial agreement.
Is certification included in mould development?
Certification is scoped separately against the product, filled content, destination and customer standard. Testing, documentation and certification fees may apply.
